Why are you changing the name?
As we continue to release new and innovative storage solutions, we have decided to expand the use of the Honeycomb name to refer to all our storage solutions. And yes, this means we have a new storage solution in development....
Why Honeycomb?
Honeycomb stands for efficiency and so do the Honeycomb Cloud Storage solutions – the hexagonal honeycomb is an incredibly efficient structure which utilises the least amount of material to hold the most weight possible.
All Honeycomb storage solutions stand out as being highly reliable, scalable solutions with high redundancy and availability (we have active-active storage clusters in every location)

No, Honeycomb now refers to all storage solutions, providing a choice of services at different price levels.
Is Honeycomb Archival Storage (AaaS) or Hyperformance Storage (BaaS) changing in service or in price?
No, both services are not changing, this is a name change only and Honeycomb Hot Storage remains the high performance option.
