  2. All customers will no longer be charged for Shared Mailboxes or Service Accounts.

When are these changes happening?

These changes come into effect on Friday 14th May 2021.

Your Partner Manager will be in touch before this date to provide you and your team with new pricing.

Will I need to wait until my next agreement renewal to receive these benefits?

No. You will not need to wait until your agreement is renewed to receive these benefits. If you have any questions related to your Partner Agreement, please contact your Partner Manager.

Why are you lowering the price?

We review our pricing regularly. Empowering MSPs to offer real business value to their customers while strengthening their MSP business with increased margins is what the Probax partnership is all about.

Where can I find the new pricing for my Partner Level?

Our new pricing will be available in Hive on Friday 14th May 2021.

Your Partner Manager will be in touch before this date to provide you and your team with new pricing.  If you cannot wait and would prefer to see our new pricing now, please contact your Partner Manager.

Why are you no longer charging for Shared Mailboxes and Service Accounts?

Office 365 Backup & Archive is a turn-key solution that is powered by Veeam Backup for Office 365 (VBO) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). As part of the offering, we provide unlimited storage and archive retention of protected mailboxes and accounts in AWS.

We previously charged for Shared Mailboxes and Service Accounts due to the costs associated with mailbox data storage in AWS. We have now decided to absorb these costs to improve the margins that MSPs make when reselling Office 365 Backup & Archive.

Why are you implementing automatic activation of SharePoint Protection for all users who have access to a SharePoint Site that is being protected?

Office 365 Backup & Archive is powered by Veeam Backup for Office 365 (VBO). We have therefore adopted the same licensing model as Veeam.

As stated in Hive, our Office 365 Backup & Archive FAQ and our Acceptable Use Policy, each SharePoint user inside an organization's Office 365 subscription that has been granted access to the SharePoint sites you are protecting needs to have SharePoint & OneDrive protection enabled.

Manually enabling SharePoint protection for every user who has access to a protected SharePoint site can be time consuming initially, and difficult to manage over time as users enter or leave the organization and/or user permissions change. We have now decided to automate the process for MSPs to minimize the administration time required to manage the solution - allowing your engineers to focus on more important and financially beneficial tasks for your MSP business.

If pricing has been lowered and you are no longer charging for Shared Mailboxes and Service Accounts, then why has my monthly invoice increased?
If your overall Office 365 Backup & Archive fees have increased, it is very likely that you have not had SharePoint & OneDrive protection enabled for all users who have access to the SharePoint site you are protecting.
Please note that we will not be back charging customers who have not been compliant with our requirements for SharePoint Protection (as stated in Hive, our Office 365 Backup & Archive FAQ and our Acceptable Use Policy).
If you believe we have made an error, please contact your Partner Manager.

I'm in! What do I need to do?

You don't need to do a thing! You will see the savings on your next Probax invoice.
